Bossa Bits is a short, medium-easy solo written in a bossa nova style. This piece is ideal for those players who have some basic experience playing coordination studies but have yet to venture out for a solo on the kit. This would also be a great solo for those looking to enhance their study in Brazilian drumming. The piece begins with the staple bossa nova pattern utilizing the rim knock. As the piece continues, the bossa nova feel remains evident. 
This work utilizes a basic bop kit (bass drum, snare drum, and two toms) along with a basic cymbal setup (hi-hat, ride cymbal, and crash cymbal.
