Every Other is an easy/medium 4-mallet solo that was composed with the intermediate marimbist in mind. This piece is based upon two central elements: the use of single alternating strokes (“every other”) in the accompaniment part along with the simple musical motive involving the use of the major 2nd prominent at the beginning and end.
